Swell Sculpture Festival

SWELL Sculpture Festival is Queensland's premier outdoor sculpture display, featuring up to 50 Australian and international artists who will captivate the hearts and minds of all visitors. The coastal scenery along the Gold Coast's Currumbin Beach features thought-provoking and sculpturally spectacular pieces. SWELL is a ten-day manifestation of ideas and visual commentary along Currumbin Beach, featuring small, medium, and large-scale sculpture installations, workshops, and activations.

Artists from all across Australia and the world who work in a variety of media. SWELL is a display of artists that want to push the boundaries of a sculptural exhibition and installation art.

EXCITING UPGRADES STARTING MAY 2024

We are excited to announce - Wednesday 15th of May, as the start date for Stage 1 of our exterior renovation and refurbishment.

We are happy to announce the re opening of the Outdoor pool and BBQ areas.

Work on the main driveway and visitor parking is still in progress and will be completed by the end of February. Access to the reception is via the NORTH tower foyer. Arrival parking is available at the very bottom of the driveway and along Pacific St. Walkway access along the side of the driveway ramp will be available for pedestrians to the entrance of the North tower. Work on the driveway area and visitor parking will not be completed until the end of February 2025.

  • Complete replacement of our paved driveway
  • Introduction of modern Granite and cobble paving around porte-cocheres
  • Refurbishment of all gardens surrounding the main driveway
